RE: clock conversion to Quartz
I bought a second clock to have converted from one of the English Sunbeam
guys. About 75 US a few years ago and sent it to Tiger Tom Erhart in Penn.
Memory says it was about $ 150 for the conversion but it is really slick:
you get to keep the setting mechanism on the stem so it really is stock-like.
Got the old clock stashed for the next "Keeper Of the Flame"
