Jim,
The way I checked the clearance was to put a small dab of modeling clay in
the shape of a Hershey kiss only taller on the air cleaner, and then slowly
lower the hood to see when it started to squash the clay. There isn't much
room for sure. I have an f4b with a Holly 600 double pumper, and only 4
holes in the manifold.

Subject: [Tigers] Edelbrock F4B manifolds
Hello,
Many people have ben very helpful in helping me understand what is involved
in going to a LAT 4 bbl set-up
But there appear to be a number of F4Bs
The aspect I'd like to ask about now is that the carb mounting hole
configurations seem to fall into two categories:
1) four holes
2) eight holes
It would seem that the eight hole version would hold "whatever" carb.
Question: will the four hole mount the 465 or is the four holer one to a
void.
I have pictures supplied by different people and e-bay of both.....
Best, (and thanks)
