Thank you to those who have responded to my question on tanks. I'm still not sure what I should be shooting for. Some posts say "clean" the tanks...others say "boil" the tanks and some say "strip" the tanks. Should the goal be to just clean or to try to remove all of the old paint (coating)? It seems that if it's the old stuff flaking away that all of the old coating should be removed. Will boiling or cleaning do that or should the tanks be immersed and stripped? Thanks, Mark L. |
