With a new piston and seal, there is very little chance for a leak. Unlike
American calipers where the seal seals against the bore, in this caliper, the
seal seals against the piston surface. The new piston gives you a perfect
seal.

If you have a sticking brake caliper then, most likely, the brake piston has
rusted in the bore. You can try to rebuild it by getting new pistons and
seals but it will leak. I found the best course of action was to send the
calipers to http://www.applehydraulics.com/ for a rebuild. They were very
reasonable in price and did a good job. Apple does resleeving of master
cylinder's which I had done at the same time.
