The c/balance spring goes in the slot on the rivet. You don't want to deform this slot by peening down the other side use an old socket or pipe to support it on the rim of the slot side and peen the other side to get a snug fit in the hole. It looks like you have to have special tools to get the factory peen. After you peen it Mig weld it to the fan. I won't tell any body so you shouldn't loose points at a car show. These regulators show up on e-bay every once in a while. HTH |
