With the top end noise all diagnosed & hopefully taken care of, I am off to
pursue yet another " project ". Thank you EVERYONE for all the helpful
advice!
Being that I question their accuracy, I am in the process of installing
water temp, oil pressure, & fuel level gauges & have run into an interesting
problem...
Does anyone have any idea WHY, when I turn the ignition on, each needle of
each gauge instantly pin them selves to their most advanced position? In
other words - The fuel gauge goes directly to max-full, the temp goes
directly to 250*, and the oil pressure goes directly to 100psi.
I am confident that my wiring is correct - I even temporarily disconnected
the sending units & now only have 12v ign & the ground hooked up.
These are brand-new auto meter gauges.
