I am in the process of restoring the convertible top on my MK I Tiger and need some advice. I have seen soft tops installations that do not have the three strips of webbing. Some only have it between the two top bows and not connected to the header windshield piece. I know it is suppose to keep the bows in line with the seams of the top and help keep the top flat, but is it really needed? The ones I've seen without it look fine?? Also, where can I find the webbing? Thanks, John |
