Tim, The first thing I would do is match the intake ports to the engine. It may turn out that some milling of the manifold port flanges is needed for them to match the heads. If so, you gain a little clearance along with better air flow. Second, I would mill about 1/4-1/2" off the carburetor flange to provide clearance for a thermal barrier spacer. You might even angle the cut downward toward the front of the car to optimize the clearance. Bob |
