I just ordered a set of Falken ZE-512's, size 205/45-16. Interestingly,
they're described on the Falken website as "M+S rated all season
performance", while a quick look at the one that was on display at the tire
store (as well as the online picture) shows big tread blocks and wide tread
grooves... Good for summer fun but definitely not for all seasons up here on
the 51st parallel.
The main reason for getting these was that it was a relatively inexpensive
way to get 16 inch rubber, and they are locally available (and warrantied).
If performance considerations warrant I'll be looking for something more
zoomy.
