It would appear that a 1968 Tiger would have headrests and an energy absorbing steering column. I doubt this would have killed production. Chrysler simply stopped making the cars because they used Ford components that Chrysler did not want to warranty. They also had their own plans for the Alpine, anybody remember the 1968 Sunbeam Alpine? Dave Buck |
