is it likely (I hope!!!!) that the bad slave cylinder is causing/contributing the hard shifting issue? Steve, Since your slave cylinder is leaking, it is possible that the surface of the bore is rough enough to cause the piston to hang up during the release so that when you push on the clutch you don't get a full stroke. It is also possible that air has been drawn in through the leaking seal which would also cause a reduced stroke. John Logan |
