Hi Dave, I have a couple of prototypes built of a combination instrument stabilizer (regulator) and voltage check LED. The LED comes on if the ignition voltage is below 12.6 volts, and you could put the LED in place of the lightbulb in the red bezel. I haven't got anywhere yet with a production type version...
