The old rule of thumb was 3 mph down for each tooth up, IE ig
your speedo read 63 mph when you were acutally going 60 mph,
on tooth up would correct the speedo.
Al this must be taken with a grain of salt due to tire and wheel
sizes, The best way to check the speedo is to go okt to the
Interstate and drive at exactly 60 mph. One minute per mile
post equals 60 mph. Keep the speed constant and check
what the speed reads.
Change the gear accordingly. This will correct the speedo
for 60 mph, but it may be off slightly at other speeds.
