Group- I yurned 53 in Jan. I was 19 in 1972 when I took a ride in my first 
Tiger. I think I paid $2000 for the car BUT to be honest, Ive forgotten. 
Does age create loss of memory. Since it was in 1972 I dont think that 
qualifys as short term loss. The car had a 5 bolt 289 a huhge crane cam and 
a set of 331 gears. You could outrun any muscel car from light to light or 
dump the clutch at high rpms and play basketball. My friend bought what 
turned out to later be my second Tiger. Another Mk1a, completely stock. 
There was no comparision to the two cars as the 289 and the 331s had way 
more than the stock 260 with a 4 barell and 288 gears and I still want a 
stroker engine.
Im also curious how many guys are running nitrous. I dont plan on it for a 
Tiger BUT maybe an Alger. Is anyone running a high HP engine w/ nitrous? If 
so, what kind of 1/4 mile times is the car capable of. Cheers, TTT
