You might be pleasantly surprised what a Tiger with
some history, racing or otherwise, would bring at that
auction.  What you are seeing there is what is called
"stupid money".  Mix hot cars, cocktails, excitement,
competition, egos, and the atmosphere of the Barrett
Jackson auction and you get spending out of control. 
GT 500 for $250,000....Give me a break.
