Took the Tiger out of the garage today after it had been sitting for 8 weeks.
At the end of the driveway and the first use of the brakes the pedal went to
the floor. Quickly reached for the hand brake which is not great anyway but
did the job. A couple of pumps on the pedal and the brakes returned to normal.
A very careful drive afterward showed no problems.
It has been usual for the brakes to be a bit hard when first applied after the
car has been sitting and then I assume the booster unsticks a bit and the
pedal returns to normal pressure. This is the first time I have had no
pressure at all and I must say quite an uncomfortable feeling.
Probably overdue for a fluid change at the very least.
