I believe white is the original color for the headliner; at least
that is the color mine has.
Personally if it is dirty I would just clean it, if it is worn and torn then
I would replace it.
Note also that the headliner material I have is white with black dots, it is
not a perforated material, so look carefully if you purchase a new headliner
and you are looking for original type material. Whatever you do don't
throw the original headliner away, you will need it for a pattern.

Ok, this shows that Light Grey was the original color and perforated and not
were standard. I would call the color of my headliner off white.

Subject: Re: Headliner Color Choice
I want to replace my hardtop's headliner before winter hits in these parts
(Northern CA). I know they're offered in black, white, tan and gray. Is
white
standard for a MK1A?
I did look in the archives. Thank you.
