If you are doing it by yourself, I found it easier to remove it from the 
bottom.  Theo's comment about height is also relevant, re removal from 
the top, so your garage must have the height or outside.

 From the bottom I can do it slowly and at my speed, which is really 
slow.  I could only install one header, and had to put the other header 
on after engine in car.
