Hi Paul,
I live in Los Angeles and last night I was watching a local news channel 
covering the wildfires here and they cut to a shot of a house that had been 
destroyed. The reporter's brief explanation was that not only the house was 
gone but so was the detached four car garage that housed the owner's classic 
car collection. There was a quick shot of the garage rubble and visible were 
the burned shells of what looked like a cobra and next to it a Sunbeam of 
some sort.
Also, this proves once and for all that it is possible to drive an old 
convertible from the west coast to New York without a major break down:
