Hi Paul, The way you describe the fuel gauge operation is a dead giveaway that your instrument stabilizer is shot. Since it supplies power to both the fuel and temp gauges, the temp gauge will also spend lots of time at the high end of the scale. Get one of Ed Esslinger's solid-state regulators (off eBay or contact him direct), and if he doesn't have any I can build you one. Best regards, Theo Smit |
