        To dress or not to dress; that is the question.

IMO, it all depends on the application, mostly they do not need to be
dressed.  The same goes for the dressing too.  If you have a specific
application you are concerned with then please state your application.

Question on dressing gaskets...
I always thought (perhaps eroneously) that paper or felt gaskets did  
not need to be dressed prior to installation as long as the surfaces  
are clean. Dressing means using a liquid - liquid gasket, silicone,  
etc on both surfaces to ensure a tight seal. You thoughts on dressing  
and if you dress what is your dress of choice - no kilts or mini  
skirts please!
