Steve, Years ago when I had cooling problems at high speed, I would prop up the hood up in the rear by laying a short piece of 2 X 4 between the hood and the cowl. It required nothing to hold it down at speeds up to 80 MPH and dropped the engine coolant temperature by about 15 degrees. Try it, it's simple to do. John |
