hot water contro valve

Hello campers,
 
Recently got a pix from the list of a heater control valve from a Mk1A  
(diff. from a Mk 1 as you know).
 
There was a SMITHS box underneath it from which I brilliantly deduct it is  a 
SMITHS part.
 
Anybody know the SMITHS part number? And what other beautiful Brit cars had  
the same
valve?
