Four times the flow means you'll have to produce 16 times the pressure 
head... good luck.
What we really need is a variable rate pump, where the pump output (and 
the required input torque) can be regulated to keep the temps constant. 
In that way, you wouldn't necessarily take a huge performance hit at 
high RPM, so long as there was enough radiator efficiency to keep the 
temperature in check.

The electric pumps on the market would have the potential to do this... 
provided they had the reliability and power required for street 
operation. You'd likely have to augment your alternator capacity to 
handle an electric pump of sufficient power to keep your coolant flowing 
at a decent rate
