Recently a friend of mine got John Force to autograph his BDS blower scoop 
with a black felt pen. To protect the original he had a decal made from a 
direct 
copy of the autograph. This decal is extremely thin and is undetectable while 
at the same time protects the original signature. Something like this may be 
a good solution thought the issue of legality is still in question.
