Yep, that's the way Ford handles their crate engines. Roush, however, does
it diffrently. Here is an excerpt from the ROush Performance web site:

"Roush Performance is extending our product offer to include
Roush-engineered Ford based street performance engines.

Built to Roush's exacting tolerances and carries a 2-year/24,000-mile
limited warranty. "

But I suspect the cost is significantly higher thaaan a Ford crate of the
same displacement..
