I currently have the Performer RPM, 465 Holley carb, AND the 1/4 inch 302
HiPo spacer. My stock aircleaner fits just fine with my stock hood. No
wing nut, of course. I have a '66 Mk 1A.
I don't think Steve is correct when he says this combination will not work,
unless there is something wierd about my car.
BTW, engine is a 5 bolt 289 with headers and a mild cam. Dyanoed horsepower
is about 280 at the flywheel. I definately recommend the Performer RPM and
465 CFM carb combination.
