The aluminum heads would be where I depart with Mayf. I too would use the 
Alu. head. Just saw a dart 540 CI motor running 12.5 to 1 compression using 
premium pump gas and 105 octane booster. Motor has 25,000 miles on it, does not 
ping/detonation and starts at the push of a button. Of course a quart of boost 
per gallon is a bit expensive for most except my friend.
