Does the shift linkage adjustment procedure described in the workshop manual always do the trick? I followed the procedure a while back and one thing I noticed on my drives today was that it is difficult to shift from second to third. From second I have to push against the 1st gear gate a tiny bit and then I can go to third, otherwise it won't go. I will check the linkage adjustment again to be sure I didn't screw up but I'm wondering if sometimes more than the book procedure is necessary. Frank B9471116 |
