The one that always makes me laugh is when the brake service technician says: You must "Turn the rotors" What a bunch of horse hockey. Unless the rotor is warped or in very poor shape because the brake pads were gone and one was relying on friction produced by the pad's steel backing plate to stop the car, "Turning the rotors" is rarely required - they turn themselves!!!!!
