Ed:
Last year I bought a new Holley 465 cfm through my local speed shop for my
Mk1A. It's also on an F4B, but with 351 Windsor heads, a relatively mild cam
and headers. I've been happy with it.
On my Mk2 I have a pretty stock 289 with the 600 cfm single line and it
performs very well. It had the dual pumper when I bought the car and it
"dumped"
too much gas. It runs much better now.
I also have a Mk1 with a relatively stock 289 with the 600 cfm single line
and it performs well also.
If you want to move away from the 465 cfm I'd say the 600 is a good choice.
