LAT valve covers

Tigers,

Just received new pair of valve covers from SS, Rick did a very nice job on
them. My problem is the clearance, they hit the last rocker or firewall.  My
motor is stock with stock rockers.  I know this has been brought up in the
past, I have searched the archives and couldn't find the answers.  I have
tried every thing except dropping the motor. Thanks in advance.
