They probably wanted an original looking "one piece" system, not
aftermarket "put together" system or hi-performance system.
Most major foreign car parts company's made original replacement systems
for the Tiger in the 60's/70's (Burgess, IPC, etc). These were stock
replacement (small 1 7/8" or 2" front pipes with 1 5/8" or 1 3/4" tail
pipes with the ends of the tail pipes chromed all the way to the rear
hanger (not just a chrome tip welded to the end of the tail pipe. Not
the best for performance but pretty close to what the Tiger had on it
from the factory. Price was a little high. Too bad he will probably have
to cut it in half to ship it to the winner.
