Even when I bought my Tiger in 67, I was never impressed with suspension compliance/ride quality/performance. Until I put in the 335 front springs we developed at CAT in the early 70s, I really never knew what "firm" really meant. I can't imagine anything stiffer for normal street/casual autocross. The biggest differences in ride always came with different tires and wider wheels. Ride quality is really a subjective matter and has too many variables to ever be universally defined. Out here in SoCal we have rain grooves and roads that are deteriorating from the immense traffic loads and constant UV exposure. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
