Nice "props" from Shelby club for the STOA sponsored autocross...I know many
(majority) of the Tiger list folks are not SF Bay area domiciled, but for
those that are, come on out to these events, they really are a blast!!

The results of the autocross hosted by the STOA Tiger Club were outstanding!
I would like to thank STOA for taking the time to host the Marina Airport
based event.
Many friendly faces from the past and present were there to challenge
themselves amongst the cones. Calling each other coneheads was not a bad thing
yesterday!
If I had come up with a motto for the day that just seemed to apply and make
things seem fun: "No expectations, no disappointments!"
It was great to see at least 4 newbie teenagers, 2nd generation drivers
trying their first attempt at cone survival. This included my oldest teen
Andrea..............we had a grand time.
Just a few names from the Tiger Club were Stan, Terry, Maria, Ron,
Don,............many more.
Just a few names from Shelby Club were Jeff, Henry, Joe, John, Dave, Tom,
Guy, Mike, Eric, .........many more.
Just a few cars present were Mustang, Cobra, Miata, Mitsubishi, Tiger,
Lightning, Focus, Monza, TR-6.......many more.
I believe the fastest to be a Z06 Corvette driven by Mike Wood........
I believe the smallest car driven would be a Mini-Cooper (old style) driven
by Joe Robello.......
I believe the largest would be the Lightning Pickup.......
If you haven't been to one of these low key, skill improving
sessions.........you are missing a real opportunity. I for one will support
the efforts of
autocrossing whenever they come around.........it is a driver deal.......ponies
and cubic bucks do not always win!
Thanks again guys and gals.
