Scott,
With a stock 260, F4B. 1848 (465 CFM) Holley 4 BBL, Pertronix ignition,
fast advance curve for full-in at 2350 rpm (stock mechanical and vacuum
advance limits), plain color spring for secondary vacuum control. I
find my Edelbrock fuel-air ratio meter reading slightly rich (good for
today's junk gas) under all throttle conditions. Smooth acceleration, no
stumble on quick punches, lots of rubber left at low speeds (wide ratio
tranny, 2.88:1 rear end).
I changed the main jets (only) 2 numbers higher than stock. At this
size, that is 0.001 per number. I believe that is #59.
Runs super smooth.
