Hi Steve,

What you need is the "Maxifuse Block", part number F1085-ND, as featured
(top center of the page) in this Digikey catalog:

http://dkc3.digikey.com/PDF/T042/1207.pdf

60 amp capacity, ring lug terminal screws, and a mounting bracket included.
Not a bad deal for $15 (plus shipping and handling - but if you buy a couple
then you're over their minimum limit and they will ship for less). Also see
their panel mount ATO fuseholder underneath it, F1089-ND, for $2.05 each. As
Bob Palmer suggested, and you already know, the connections are the key to
preventing local heat buildup, so the ring lugs are good only if you secure
the screws tightly and make sure they stay tight.

Another thing to consider is to replace that 35 amp fuse with a resettable
circuit breaker - but that won't cure your local-heating problem that is
probably the real cause of the fuse failure.

Best regards,
Theo.
