Bruce, I can't believe there is any relation between timing and breaking the rocker stud. My first guess would be the rockers you are using don't have enough slot clearance for the bigger cam lift, but just the name "Magnum roller tips" would seem to exclude this, or just the stronger springs and high lift are overwhelming the studs (3/8"? Brand?). Also, check to see if the roller tips are properly centered on the valve stem. We did a whole thread on how to do this awhile back. Bob |
