Not to worry. The seal I made was for my garden sprayer, not my calipers.
That is why I suggested it be made from a Girling cylinder cup or the like if
someone attempted to create it for their Tiger/Alpine.
I am glad though to hear that the seals are actually available. Perhaps I
missed something at sometime (though I have been on the list for 4-1/2 years
now), but in all that time I had heard that one shouldn't split the caliper
simply because the seals weren't available. So, this is the first I have known
about it. If others thought as I did I'm glad the word is getting out and
efforts are being put forth for parts (that have had a history of) not being
available.

I have the Caliper center seals in stock. You said you took a piece
of rubber and made seals? I hope the rubber you used is happy being in
contact with brake fluid...
