Interested parties, It's possible to use a 30 amp ammeter with modern amenities, like air conditioning, by adding a power resistor in parallel with the ammeter. The resistor would allow some of the current to bypass the ammeter. The ammeter would then display a fraction of the actual current, based on the value of the power resistor chosen. - John |
