In the early 70's I work for a foreign car repair and wrecking business. We got one of the factory rally cars in. This car had knock off solid rims. What they had done was to take the center splined hub from wire wheels and then had solid centers made. The hubs were welded to the rim and new center. I actually had a set made for my TR4 for auto cross, worked great. With today's pattern cutters/duplicators you could even make them look good. Moonstone |
