I will be pulling my gas tanks in the near future and thought I'd try to do
something about the fuel starvation problem that occurs while racing.
This has been a problem I have talked about with many people but have not
gotten a satisfactory solution. It occurs mainly when fuel is below 1/2 tank
and on long sweeping high speed turns.
Does anyone have suggestions for installing a baffle system in the
tanks/cross-over tube to prevent all the fuel from transfering to one side and
there by causing the starvation problem. The engine usually only bogs out for
a few seconds, but these fews seconds and the time it takes to get back up to
full speed--tend to knock off quite a few seconds at the finish line. Any
suggestions would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
