Tom,
I have always just used a bunch of brake fluid to lube my brake parts while
assembling and have never had a problem. The key is that I put them into use
in short order (same day) so corrosion was not a problem. If you are going
to let them sit after rebuild for a significant amount of time great use the
grease, otherwise for everything other than the booster I have just used
liberal amounts of brake fluid. For the booster I used liberal amounts of
the red grease.
