Malcolm: You're right about the seat bottoms. They appear too small but they can be made to fit. Best to get the proverbial two strong men and a boy and perform the attempt at a goodly distance from women and small children (so they won't be offended by the necessary strong language). Probably a few bottles of Guiness will help as well. When completed you will be rewarded with seats that feel like new and you will be sitting higher by about three inches. Good luck!
