Was that Pontiac made by Chrysler? The rootes cars were weren't they during
that time? Was there a Hillman Avenger Tiger at the same time as our Tigers?

Jeeze, a Cricket with a hotter engine...sounds like an oxymoron.... But
it
is interesting in that the last Tiger sold was not a V8. So where does
the
marque end with calling cars tigers. This actually should be a relevant
question.
I think the distinction is that it was a Hillman Avenger (make, model) Tiger
(option package)...the equivalent would be the Sunbeam Tiger (make, model) GT
(option package).
If that's not the case, then I guess we'll have to let the Royal Pontiac,
Lemans GTO Tiger into the headcount also...
