What is the wisdom for breaking in a motor on a dyno. The local shop rents the dyno by the day and we can run it for about eight hours. Should I use mineral oil for this time period to allow the rings to wear in and should we plan to pull continuously at about 75%. Most everything is new...hardened seats, cam, bearings, pistons, rings, valves and springs. The bore was honed. Any advice is appreciated as the shop will not help after everything is hooked up.
