Mark,
There are excellent suggestions on the Tigers United site under Performance
Tuning. The idea is to prevent hot air from being recirculated to the front
of the rad when you are moving slowly or are at rest. The Volvo solution
could be applied, but you can do a lot of improving by implementing some of
the tips in these articles.
