Yes, actually I have.
I placed an order via their website for some internal trim parts that to
date has: (a) never been acknowledged and (b) processed. As it turned
out, I eventually managed to source the parts I needed via Alpine west
midlands.
This experience is something of a shame because in the past I've had
nothing but good experiences with SS. They have always struck me as very
reliable, honest and professional. It would seem however that they're
not savvy with modern technology and despite having a website with an
electronic store attached, they don't know how to use it or they don't
man it properly. They also don't seem to read their email all that often
either.
I wouldn't give up on them completely but experience has shown that
whilst they might be very good at restoring and servicing Alpines,
they're hopeless at using any kind of technology that involves using the
Internet. I would say that if you're intent to use them, call them up
and speak to them in person - at least that way you're less likely to
get the wrong part and you can get some idea of when you'll actually get
it.
Regards,
William

|Anyone ever had a problem with SS? I have e-mail twice in the
|last 10 days with no response. Maybe my order is too small to
