RE Dot 5 I purchased some motorcycle brake fluid a few years back. The bike manual called for silicone. The factory can of fluid that the service dept. sold me was labeled Dot 5 and when I read the ingredients the ingredients was silicone. So, I guess I too assumed that Dot 5 was silicone. Mark L. |
