Hmmm, Steve if you really did only measure 10.6 Ohms across the
secondary then something may be amiss.  Typical coils should measure
much higher (in the K-ohms) across the secondary.  Measuring 10.6 ohms
would classify as a short for such a winding.  Maybe the Petronix coil
works differently from what I'm used to?
